Machu Picchu Yoga Retreat
August 13-19, 2027
1. Non-Refundable Deposit
To secure your spot for the retreat, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit ensures your place but is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
2. Final Payment
The final payment for the retreat is due by Sunday, June 13, 2027, exactly two months before the start of the retreat. If the full balance is not paid by this date, your spot may be forfeited, and no refund of your deposit will be made.
3. Payment Plans
Guests may choose to pay for the retreat using a 6-installment payment plan during checkout. If you opt into the payment plan, your installments will be automatically charged through Squarespace's payment platform using the payment method provided at checkout.
Regardless of the selected payment plan, the full retreat balance must be paid by Sunday, June 13, 2027. If your remaining scheduled installments do not fully satisfy the outstanding balance by this date, your final payment will automatically adjust to collect the remaining balance, which may result in a larger final installment than your previous payments.
4. Automatic Billing
At the time of booking, your $500 non-refundable deposit (or first scheduled payment, if applicable) will be charged according to the payment option selected during checkout. If you choose the 6-installment payment plan, your remaining payments will be automatically processed through Squarespace's payment platform using the payment method on file.
Please ensure your payment method remains current and has sufficient available funds for each scheduled payment. All outstanding balances must be paid in full by Sunday, June 13, 2027. Any remaining balance due on this date will be automatically charged to the payment method on file.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We have a strict no-refund policy, including the non-refundable deposit. This is necessary because we enter into binding agreements with third-party vendors, such as the retreat venue, which also enforce non-refundable terms. The only exception to this policy would be if the retreat were canceled due to "acts of God" (e.g., a government-mandated shutdown due to COVID-19), in which case we will refund participants in full. Please ensure you have considered all factors before booking, and we strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance to protect yourself in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
6. Ticket Transfers
You may transfer your retreat ticket to another person up to one week before the start of the retreat by emailing us at journeyofabirdie@gmail.com. After this time, no transfers will be allowed.
7. Acknowledgement of Responsibility
By participating in the Machu Picchu Yoga Retreat, you acknowledge that the offerings provided are not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment. It is your responsibility to inform the facilitator of any serious health conditions or injuries before each session or workshop.
8. Waiver of Liability
By agreeing to these terms, you release the retreat hosts and facilitators from any liability for injury or damage to persons or property resulting from your participation in the retreat activities. You acknowledge that you are participating at your own risk and that neither the hosts nor facilitators are responsible for accidents or injuries.
9. Electronic Signature
By purchasing a service, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the terms and conditions, delivering an electronic signature that holds the same legal effect as an original manual signature. This electronic signature is equally binding and represents your agreement to the terms and conditions listed above.
10. Confirmation
I have read and understood the terms outlined above, including the refund/cancellation policy, waiver of liability, and all other stipulations. By providing my electronic signature, I voluntarily agree to these terms.
